It's hot.
last night my sweet hubby brought me home one of those big 15'x4' pools. He said he wanted to get me something special, so it was either that, or beef jerky. He is such a sweetie sometimes.

The pool is all set up and filling...has been filling since about noon today, its now 6:30 and its about 3/4 of the way full. I'm sure my water softener will be needing salt desperately by tomorrow. It needs to be bypassed for the outside water lines. My strawberrys don't deserve soft water.

I'm taking a break from painting the trim surronding my downstairs white. It was a horrid reddish brown color wich just added to the dingy underground feel of the basement. I have a really nice kind of olive green to paint the rest of the room with, so lets see how it works out. If nothing else, I can always rip it down and put up new. Pine moulding is cheap enough.

I wonder if you can paint a steal door, or if the paint will just flake off? And is it possible to paint a linoleum floor? Wouldn't THAT look nice. Questions to pose the Menards guys the next time I go for supplys.
